ROCK FOR HAITI "Easy Listening" CD

These are the Christian artists appearing on the "ROCK FOR HAITI" Easy Listening CD. Because many of these CDs will go to church families with a wide range of musical tastes, we have put the CD together, using some of the "softer"songs by these artists. Click the CD link below to purchase the project through the HappyLittleWebsite.com, and $5 from each one sold will go DIRECTLY to the JESUS IN HAITI ministry.

HAPPY LITTLE DAY

Happy Little Day has been billed as one of Christian Music's most exciting and elclectic bands.  They throw toilet paper from the stage, they have raft races during concerts,  and they use  the attention to encourage young people to get  read and live out GOD's WORD!

ED FLEAB

Ed Fleab, lead singer for HAPPY LITTLE DAY, along with STEVE NELSON, has co-produced his own solo album.  The music is described as "Techno-Alternative".  Ed and Steve collaborated on the song MAD MAD WORLD for the ROCK FOR HAITI CD.

STEVE NELSON

Steve Nelson does a hip-hop flavored style of POP music. He has produced and engineered artists ranging from YOUNG BUCK to ED FLEAB, and has worked with artists ranging from DEEPER ELEVATION to NAPPY ROOTS.  His song, "Listen 2 The Children" reflects the softer side of Steve, and proves to be one of the ROCK FOR HAITI CD's more emotional moments.

MIKE MUSICK

And,  yes, that is his real name.  Mike met up with the guys from Happy Little Day at the Gospel Music Week in Nashille, TN in 2002, as he was supporting his solo venture.  Today, Mike is the lead singer for the band ROADS TO ROME (pictured).  His songs are some of the cleanest, tightest produced easy listening rock in all of Christian Music.

Although Mike no longer tours as a solo artist, he was kind enough to donate one of his songs from the album "THIS TOWN" for the ROCK FOR HAITI CD.  To contact Mike, or to learn more about Roads To Rome, click the picture link above and visit the RTR myspace!

THE WAYSIDE

John Thompson, front man for THE WAYSIDE, is probably better known for his work with CORNERSTONE MUSIC FESTIVAL and HM MAGAZINE.  He is a writer, a missionairy, a folk/rock guitar player, and a huge supporter of Christian Music in general.  John was kind enough to donate one song from the band's album,  "FARM" to the ROCK FOR HAITI project.

YANCY

In addition to her solo music, Yancy is involved with her husband, leading worship at their local church in Oklahoma.  Ed Fleab met Yancy while working with the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of CHRISTIAN ROCK  RADIO, at the Gospel Music Week in Nashville, TN.  Her music provides one of the softer moments on the ROCK FOR HAITI project.
